New Nas that will not be appearing on his new Life Is Good album. This Ditty is a follow up to his “Was Written” classic “Black Girl Lost”

Nas drops his video for “Nasty.” With its Queensbridge on-location shoot and looming towers, this visually echoes previous vids and photos but with a more conceptual twist as Nasir strips away the layers of floss to get back to the raw essence of his sound.

Director Matt Alonzo had his work cut out for him what with all the excitement the song (and even the photo that became the single artwork) has generated but he wisely chose to forego a ‘smells like the 90s’ approach for a stark black & white dream sequence.
